| Hi Launch Techs, had an 04 plate Vauxhall Astra 1.8 with the Z18XE engine on which X431 would not communicate using any of the connectors, ie, OBD11 16, Canbus or Smart,and using the Smart connector actually put on the spanner warning light till the connector was unplugged again, the chassis number is WOLOAHL4848057745 it has the Siemens ECU Simtec, with numbers on the ECU case for hardware number version C2.2 and software 0485201C, also will we be getting software soon for the Z19DTH engine on later Vectras? |

Dear Mr. Jim Dollar
In regards to the Opel Vauxhall, please use CANBUS II connector when diagnosin Astra-H and Vectra-C after 2002.
Also, please update the software in time and communicate the software version used by yourself in testing these cars also. This can help us to be more specific in replying.

| Hello Arun, I am using the latest software version and is Canbus 11 different from the Canbus connector? I have Canbus and Volvo canbus separate. |

Dear Jim Dollar,
The CAN BUS II connecter is the newly released CAN BUS connecter which integartes the CAN protocols of communication for the CAN BUS Connecter and VOLVO CAN Connecter.
In addition some new ECU systems with the latest cars can also be diagnosed only with the new CAN BUS II connecter,

hi,
several times i tried to diagnos volvo v70 diesel 2004 with can 11 connector but it does not work.I solved the problem with eobd. With volvo can connector i could only connect to abs and srs. no engine management. also this week no communication with saab 9-3 2004. how come?
