Hi from Scotland. I have had an ongoing problem with a 1998 Saab 9-3 2.2 D with the X22dth engine, sometimes quite intermittently it loses power but will stay at a cruise of 80 mph with poor acceleration up to that point, the other day it stopped completely without warning but luckily the owner was able to coast down a hill into his drive. Next day it started with no problem but I read the fault codes and got 6 in total. P0704 clutch pedal position switch circuit malfunction, P1125 Boost pressure too low mechanical fault, P1335 Crankshaft Syncropulse for diesel pump defective,P0725 engine rpm input circuit,P1631 pump control module internal fault and P1635 Glow control unit.Feedback error, all these faults were "not present" have deleted them and will drive the car and get the codes re-read but wondered if anyone had any ideas? I have checked all the vacuum pipes and had the crankshaft sensor resistance checked which is fine
, thanks, Jim. |

Hi Jim!
Did you check ECM multiplug? I had almost the same DTCs in Omega B X22DTH and similiar problems - I cleared the ECM multiplug and diesel pump connector (just in case) and it's all OK now. |
