Dear Michael,
Pls check if it has a PSE system. If so pls try to read the fautls from it.
IN 210 chassis the locks and the other pneumatic systems are controlled from the PSE, usually located under the rear seat enclosed in sponge casing.
Check the fuse for the same and if you have replaced it, the moment you connect it you can feel the pressure building up inside it.
Usually coding is not needed only replacement is ok,
if the blinkers are blinking almost the system is working fine, please check the fuse box and try to read fault from PSE.
Reg,

There were update kits that had to be installed along with the new PSE or else the rear head rest would not work (contact your local Mercedes dealer to find out more about the kit/ it contains fittings, hose piping, etc and you will need instructions). Regarding the key synchronization, I did one not long ago on a 140 chassis and it does not require using the Launch. I could get you a procedure if need be, but would need to know VIN #, production date, year and model. _________________ charlie lupo |
