Hello, I have just downloaded the latest BMW software (31.05) on my X431 and am needing to version code a new Basic Module part # 61 35 6 942 047 on a 1997 BMW 740il. I see that the coding functon is not available but would like to make a request that the engineers look into providing this function in the next update. I filed this on the Launch site under Award Complaint but have as of yet ever to get any feedback on this kind of issues ( I have posted at least 5 times there). I notice that Arun on this board is careful to respond to various queries, so that's why I am now posting. My question to Arun is as to whether he has any direct contact with the engineers who provide the updates and can effect the improvements that are needed?

Thankyou for your compliments and we appreciate your enthusiasm in taking upi your valuable feed back with us.
In reference to the development of the special features in tvarious models of the cars, limitation in this case should be coming from many sides, for eg, they should be able to find the same cars and also the Engineer who is developing these functions should atleast make one try to gert it confirmed after he carries out the works in the software etc..
How ever the follow up for the coding and programming in BMW was atken up with them many times and they just had released the synchronising in some systems.
Your query shall be surely taken up with the Software development section, however i cannot promise that it shall be appearing in the next update, but it should be coming some time later.

Thank you Arun for the quick reply! I hope together we can all improve the Launch Scan Tool. I have been a user for three years now and am looking forward to being with Luanch for years to come.
