Launch Tech X431 R&D department in co-operation with LAUNCH TECHS ME released new version of X431 operating system.
Many improvmenst were added to the new version, such enabling the PC Link connection, and Arabic Interface.
We are proud to add another glory to Launch X431 by making it the sole Scanner on earth to work in Arabic Language. |

Of course you will not see it, to do this update, you need many requirments, so better to contact your reseller.
The update file is about 14MB, and it needs Linux operating system instead of Windows, also it needs knowlage about X431 OS structure.
Almost all branchs, and some dealers got training of how to make this update, so your seller will help you for sure.

Though I do not as yet own x431, I'm contemplating buying one very soon
but I find the above response by the 'support team' rather odd. I'm
located in an area where my nearest dealer is thousands of miles away.
How would I then be able to upgrade the OS unless I had to ship back the
x431 for the upgrade (read extra expenses and a lot of time wasted).
Even if one was able to download, this is a very huge file where it would
personally take me 1hr+ (due to the very slow internet connection which
is beyond my control).
I would have expected the Launch Team to possibly have the same on a
CD for their customers - with a manual detailing fully all the steps needed
for a proper installation. |

Hi
The update is not urgent, you can use the functions of X431 100% without this flash.
In such a situtation, sure we will send you the file by a CD and send you all the instructions, and we will be ready to any question/matter online.

I also purchased X431 from a dealer thousands of miles away as I am in Hawaii.
Can you send me the CD.

Try to contact your dealer first, if he did not help you, send us offical request to send you the file with instructions.
