Hi, i've been working on a 2003 renault megane 1.9dci the last few days, when started the 'SERVICE' light is on permanently and the lcd display says "CHECK INJECTION". I have reset the oil service counter and the DTC's but they return instantly. Dispite the huge amount of errors, the Car is running fine! Its a Bosch EDC16c9 ecu, while reading the DTC's with launch using -16c i get the following:
DF012 Battery Voltage too low ACTIVE
DF071 Track 1 Pedal sensor circuit Open or short ACTIVE
DF071 Track 1 Pedal sensor circuit short to 12v+ ACTIVE
DF071 Track 1 Pedal sensor circuit sensor feed fault ACTIVE
DF071 Track 1 Pedal sensor circuit, Coherent with brake signal ACTIVE
DF002 Water Temperature sensor Circuit, short to earth. ACTIVE
DF022 Air Temperature sensor, short to earth. ACTIVE
DF022 Air Temperature sensor, short to 12v+. ACTIVE
DF021 Fuel Temperature sensor circuit, short to earth. ACTIVE
DF091 Sensors no.1 feed voltage too low. ACTIVE
DF092 Sensors no.2 feed voltage too high. ACTIVE
DF095 Vehicle speed information, wheel speed incorrect. ACTIVE
DF095 Vehicle speed information, vehicle speed too high. ACTIVE
DF095 Vehicle speed information, Speed info from ABS Error. ACTIVE
DF095 Vehicle speed information, Vehicle speed sensor incoherent. ACTIVE
DF072 Fuel Pressure Information, measured pressure too high. ACTIVE
DF072 Fuel Pressure Information, RCO too high for gallery pressure regulation solenoid valve. ACTIVE
DF099 Cylinder 1 injector circuit, Overintensity H. ACTIVE
DF099 Cylinder 1 injector circuit, open circuit. ACTIVE
DF102 Cylinder 4 injector circuit, overintensity L. ACTIVE
DF102 Cylinder 4 injector circuit, Open circuit. ACTIVE
DF102 Cylinder 4 Injector circuit, erasing error. ACTIVE
DF101 Cylinder 3 injector circuit, Overintensity L. ACTIVE
DF101 Cylinder 3 injector circuit, overintensity H. ACTIVE
DF100 Cylinder 2 injector circuit, overintensity H. ACTIVE
DF100 Cylinder 2 injector circuit, erasing error. ACTIVE
DF086 Flow after key cut-out, error on cut-out for zero flow. ACTIVE
DF086 Flow after key cut-out, error for cut-out by injector output stage. ACTIVE
DF055 OBD light circuit, open circuit. ACTIVE
DF001 Computer, Replace the computer. ACTIVE
DF089 Injector control conndensor voltage, replace the computer.
DF093 Microcontroller active, replace the computer.
END
After removing the ecu and backing it up with a bdm (Just incase i need to program a replacement) it when about 2 miles the reported "Injection Fault" and "STOP"
Now, when i read the DTC as Megane2 with Can-BusII adaptor, i get 2 dtc's only..
[32,0 No description
7,0d, of code
06]
[32, 0 No description
7, 0f of code
07]
It is common belief from what i can see that "CHECK INJECTION" is either a glow plug or an injector. But these are coded injectors, can they simple be swapped?
Next..
reading as Laguna, injector coding responds (Obviously incorrectly but still the data may mean something) as the following:
(read as laguna)
Inj1 Code- 423248334b323831
Inj2 Code- 4147473638525347
Inj3 Code- 42364153314c4458
Inj4 Code- 0000000000000000
(read as Megane)
Inj1 Code- B2H3K2
Inj2 Code- 81AGG6
Inj3 Code- 8RSGB6
Inj4 Code- AS1LDX
So my questions are...
1. Whats going on with launch, which set of DTC's are correct? The no description of code DTC's from the Can-Bus2 or the Arms length list of errors from the -16c?
2. Whats going on with this megane?
Kind Regards
