Dear Gurmk,
This could probably be the problem from your break pedal switch. please try to check all the sensors and switches on the brake pedal and try erasing these faults from the Engine and Brake system.
Retry cranking the car and communicate your observation.

Hello Arun,
I done as you recommended, found nothing wrong with the brake switch but after checking all the other sensors the car started, with no fault codes showing.
After about 2hrs of driving the vehicle switched of again. I noticed that with the ignition on the oil light was coming on and of and that the launch could only read the fault codes when the oil light was on and the vehicle would start when the oil light was on but only for about 30 seconds and swith of. (no oil light again)
I got 2 more codes in addition to the ones above
1: 1E00 CAN Bus
2: 1E55 Supply V f.PTS 2, CAP sensor, AMF sensor
Also found that when the oil light is of the fuel pump relay is getting no signal from thr ECM so no fuel, hence the engine cutting out.
Is it possible that the ECM is faulty? |
