i get a fault code on a ML320 ( 146 sporadically rppm n3 too high Externally toothed disc carrier. can anyonne help

Sensor is going bad, will need new conductor plate.
(sensor is part of this plate)
Drop out VB and replace conductor plate and connector sealing sleeve
If you have the 722.662 trans the conductor plate is 140 270 07 61
and the sleeve is 203 540 00 53
